Wedding Pictures (they almost do it justice!)

Here are some photos for you all. We might not get around to posting any more for a while, but you can see up to the minute pictures of Mexico's Gulf Coast coming soon. Write some comments (thanks, Laura!) so we know you are out there!

Where is the wedding party? It's go time! Ana's mom looking beautiful out the window trying to rally the dysfunctional wedding party!

The Wedding Party: Eli, Trevor, Kota, Josh, Ana, Rachael, Jacob, Winnie, Logan, Laura, Katie, and Izzy. You guys were and are the best--thanks for the circle of looovvee......(also pictured: eva the dog's butt)

Ana's family (minus Ted, he was sick.)

Josh's family

Ana, Josh and Mt. Sopris. What a sweet spot for a wedding!

Father of the bride, John, telling all. . .

Post ceremony. . . oh my we didn't pass out or weep hystericallly.. . .we rule!

The light was just right, so Ana missed dinner(after all that effort I ate in the hotel room)

Beautiful house, nice day. . .

Dancing to Nick Cave

Lot of candles. . . just the way Ana wanted it!

Kissing and vows. . . (thanks Renick!)

Cake. Not Ana's decorating choice (except for the flowers), but it was delicious. Especially the next day.

This wasn't Ana's favorite table, but it is still pretty nice.

Whoops, we forgot to do the rings during the ceremony. We did the rings right after with just the wedding party watching and it was pretty sweet we have to say.

Wedding Party again. . .man did they look smashing!

Radical lilies from a lake in Marble (thanks Theresa, Ben and Tati!)

Josh and Ana just got married. . .

Thanks to everyone who helped us out in making this happen and keeping us sane. Basically without all of you (Ana's mom, Chris) we would have been married in a courthouse months ago. But, we are so happy we chose to take this journey instead. Much love to you all!

To all of our curious friends and relatives

More pictures of the wedding coming soon!

All good so far. . .

The Syncro made it to Colorado. Ana and Josh made it through the wedding, which was a smashing success. We spent a few days and nights holed up in a cabin in Marble (thanks to John and Theresa and Ben and Tati!!) resting and eating and relaxing. Plans for Mexico are in full swing, and in transition. Current route: south through New Mexico into Texas, acrosse the lone star state to Brownsville, and then down the gulf coast to Veracruz (and beyond). Keep checking up on us to see where we are, and how we are doing. Here is a picture of Ana looking beautiful, the cabin in Marble, and the Syncro in the woods. Thanks to all who helped us have a fantastic wedding!

Tick Tock

Ten days til the wedding. Will the syncro make it to Colorado? We sure hope so, because it will be carrying the wine from Portland, and the groom and Kota. VW doctor making a diagnosis tomorrow. Ana is under the weather as well, directing wedding preparations via email and phone. Hoping to fly out as soon as possible. Sorry Chris!

The Syncro

Current stats: Tiene viente anos, 5000 lbs, 4 wheel drive, 90 hp (yikes). Necessary upgrades before mission begins: new tires, re-install AC, install dual-battery set up, replace carpet with Pergo, find a fridge that runs on 12 volt and gas to keep the beer cold. And some nice curtains. We love our Syncro.
